Day Six - Masterpieces of Paris
Our last tour day we set out for the Musée d'Orsay, which used to be a railway station. It features the original very cool, very large clock located on the fifth floor.
The museum is known for its collection of 19th- and early 20th century works by some of the most famous artists of the period, including Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Pierre-Auguste Renoir.
At the beginning of our tour we were given a pass to most of the museums for the week and after our morning session at the d’Orsay we were free to visit other museums at our leisure.
We met up for a farewell dinner and toast in the evening!
